Safety Pin 반지 소개

세이프티 핀(Safety Pin)은 완벽하게 작동하는 안전핀 형태의 반지입니다. 이 반지는 착용자의 손가락 세 개에 걸쳐 착용되며, 브로치나 펜던트, 핀으로도 사용할 수 있습니다. 세이프티 핀은 18캐럿 옐로우 골드로 제작되었으며, 2.09캐럿의 다채로운 색상 젬스톤이 세팅되어 총 중량은 14.40그램입니다. 3D 모델링 작업을 거쳐 왁스 프로토타입을 출력한 후 금으로 주조했습니다. 주조물은 수작업으로 마감 및 폴리싱했습니다. 이후 젬스톤을 고정하고 각 부품을 결합했습니다. 이 디자인은 가볍고 착용하기 편하면서도 유희적인 감성을 유지하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

생산 기술: Developed in the 3D Matrix program for the jewellery industry based on the Rhinoceros program, a 3D model was created. After the safety pin were grown by prototyping on a 3D printer from wax, the cast was made in gold. They were processed by hand and polished with jewellery threads, for the perfect shine of the gems and showing their cut, clarity and colour. After that, precious stones were fixed into the base product and only then the parts were connected into the final figurines.
디자인 과제: The number one challenge is to combine the design of the piece with its technical side while maintaining it lightweight, wearable and ergonomic.
연구: Traditionally, jewellers have created static pieces for thousands of years. By adding movement to the jewellery I allow our pieces to come alive, inspired by the beauty of magic and nature. As a jeweller, my concept is to find ways to introduce kinetic effects and hidden secrets that are a unique joy to own.
영감: Invoking the magical wonderment of childhood, the Games collection fuses the fun with the fine. With their emphasis on actual play and irreverent references each piece has the dual purpose of encouraging daydreaming and lighthearted games
프로젝트 기간: The project started in January 2021 in London and finished in January 2022 in London. The overall process of production, improvements and quality check took about one year. These ring have never been exhibited before.
운영 흐름: A Multifunctional Safety Pin ring can be transformed in to brooch, pendant or pin. Also, it could be stylised and worn on many occasions with additional charms.
