Glitters 전시 사진 시리즈 소개

글리터스(Glitters)는 시퀸 원단의 표면을 탐구하는 사진 시리즈다. 이 시리즈는 평범한 기능성 소재를 추상 회화의 매체로 다룬다. 사람의 손길은 시퀸을 되돌릴 수 없는 방식으로 변화시키며, 그 하나하나의 흔적이 카메라에 기록된다. 이미지는 매크로 시점에서 마이크로 시점으로 이동하며 소재, 질감, 색채, 빛을 탐색한다. 우연과 조명, 직관이 이 실험적 접근을 이끈다. 사진은 디지털 카메라로 촬영되었으며 디지털 소프트웨어로 후보정되었다. 프린트는 파인아트 용지와 플렉시글라스에 네 가지 사이즈의 리미티드 에디션으로 제작된다.

고유 특성: This series tries to experiment the irreversible and fascinating nature of sequin fabric. With the human influence on it, it becomes a medium for abstract painting.

디자인 과제: The hardest part is to decide which moment, which colors, when is the perfect scratch to shot to create painting-like photography.
And also the uncontrollable factors like emotion and intuition.
연구: After year of research between photography and philosophy, I perceive photography as a manifestation of the subconscious and the externalisation of inner emotions in the exploration of the 3-dimensional world with my intuitive flash of mind in the sense of aesthetics and imaginary.

We are the creators of our own universe. By standing in the perspective of an observer without holding any definition of the world, the selflessness allows you to see the world with infinite points and possibilities. Each work is uniquely reflecting how my current emotions, frequency and consciousness connecting to the 3-dimension world at specific point of time. They are the language of my soul.
영감: Inspiration came from one day I come across curtains which made by sequin fabric. I was captivated by its sparkling and irreversible nature with the spotlight. With human influence, it becomes a beautiful abstract painting.
프로젝트 기간: The project was born in May 2020 and was completed in May 2020.
운영 흐름: This series aims to explore the boundary and diversity of material and texture in the perspective from macro to micro by infusing outside emotional influence on the ordinary functional object. It is done with an experiment approach with uncertainty like fabric, color, lighting and intuition.
