트와일라잇 엘레강스(Twilight Elegance)는 대만 신좡에 거주하는 4인 가족을 위한 주거 인테리어 디자인이다. 148.76제곱미터 규모의 이 주택은 지어진 지 30년 된 건물로, 침실 3개와 거실, 다이닝룸, 욕실 1개로 리노베이션되었다. 주방 아일랜드가 평면의 중심을 잡아주며 침실과 드레스룸으로 이어지는 네 개의 히든 도어를 연결해 개방적인 동선을 형성한다. 마감재로는 석재, 대형 포세린 슬래브, 다크 우드 베니어, 아트 페인트가 사용되었다. 우드 베니어가 보와 천장을 감싸 시각적 연속성을 부여하며, 3000K의 일관된 색온도가 차분한 분위기를 유지한다.

고유 특성: The project renovates a 30-year-old, 148.76 m2 residence in Xinzhuang for a family of four. Preserving the spirit of the client's former home, the designer reimagined its Baroque-inspired drama into understated luxury. The new design fuses the grounded textures of twilight with the glowing warmth of sunset. Named Twilight Elegance, it symbolizes the intersection of styles and organic fluidity, reflecting how a home gently adapts to and embraces the daily lives of its residents.
치수 및 패키징: The 148.76 m2 home was reconfigured into three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and one bathroom. At its core, a kitchen island anchors the design, linking four concealed doors to bedrooms and dressing areas to create fluid circulation. The master suite features dual-aspect lighting and a private walk-in closet, while children's spaces revolve around the island, with open areas for free movement and even indoor cycling. The result is a transparent, cohesive layout that balances social and private zones.

생산 기술: The palette is defined by neutral, cool-leaning dark tones, harmonized through carefully planned lighting to regulate mood. Materials include stone, large porcelain slabs, dark wood veneer, and artistic paint. Marble-patterned floor tiles extend a hotel-like sense of luxury, while wood veneer wraps around beams and ceilings to establish visual continuity. A consistent 3000K light temperature stabilizes the overall mood, creating layered expressions of restraint and elegance.
디자인 과제: Upon demolition, the residence required a full overhaul of wiring, voltage, and pipelines. The designer continually adapted to on-site conditions, extending the timeline and raising technical demands. Large beams cutting through the space added complexity, requiring a balance between coherence and structure. They were resolved by wrapping in wood veneer and linking to cabinetry. Though no leakage or wall damage was found, the depth of work marked the project as a technically demanding medium- to large-scale renovation.

Functionality is fully met, yet the design also maintains a distinct character, one that both parents and their children love.
