'시간의 빛(Light of Time)'은 대만 타이난시의 오래된 주택을 리노베이션한 주거 인테리어 디자인으로, 3대에 걸친 기억을 담고 있는 집이다. 마감재로는 저포름알데히드 무늬목, 친환경 도료, 석재, 금속을 사용하여 건강과 지속가능성을 고려해 선정했다. 도장을 여러 겹 쌓아 올리는 기법과 수작업 무늬목 시공을 통해 따뜻한 질감을 구현했다. 중성적인 그레이스케일 색조와 간접 매입 조명이 수납 공간과 전시 공간의 균형을 잡아준다. 간결한 라인과 층층이 스며드는 빛이 차분하고 담백한 공간을 완성한다. 이 인테리어는 노년 거주자의 편안함과 젊은 가족 구성원의 취향을 모두 아우른다.

생산 기술: The project combines craftsmanship and modern tech. Materials include low-formaldehyde veneers, eco-friendly coatings, stone, and metal, all chosen for health and sustainability. Layered coating techniques create warm textures, while hand-crafted veneers ensure natural balance. Digital imaging with physical sampling guided accurate execution, reducing errors and waste. 디자인 과제: The challenge was balancing an old house’s structure with modern needs. The home held three generations’ memories, requiring emotional preservation and renewal. It had to support elders’ convenience while meeting younger aesthetics. Externally, safety, regulations, and feasibility posed limits; internally, sustainable material research and precise detailing were demanding. Through prototyping, adjustments, and collaboration with craftsmen, constraints were transformed into opportunities, achieving a sustainable, comfortable, and emotionally rich space.
영감: Inspired by grayscale beauty and the philosophy of emptiness, the design highlights simplicity with clean lines, layered light, and textures. Influences include abstract art, minimalism, and Japanese serenity, bringing purity and comfort. Neutral tones with concealed lighting balance storage and display, offering flexibility and immersion. Through precise proportion and material research, the space achieves minimalist yet dynamic visuals, merging modern aesthetics with functional value.
프로젝트 기간: The project timeline began with the contract signed in Annan District, Tainan City, Taiwan, in November 2024. Construction started in Xinshi District, Tainan City, Taiwan, in December of the same year and was successfully completed in June 2025, with the entire process completed within seven months.
