Mō The River is Everywhere Hoahoanga Roto Nohonga
He hoahoanga roto nohonga tēnei mō tētahi whare noho 200-mita-tapawhā i Taipei City, ko te ingoa "Kei Ngā Wāhi Katoa te Awa". Ka whakaputa te hoahoanga i te awa e tata ana me te kaupapa o te haerenga wairua. I hangaia anōtia te tuanui tomokanga hei rārangi piko māeneene. Ko ngā puare paparanga i runga i ngā pakitara wehewehe o te ruma noho e tuku ana i ngā atarangi e whakamahara ana ki ngā rākau e kitea ana mai i te awa. I oti ā-ringa ngā mata pirasitā kia mā, kia mārama ai te mahere tuwhera. Kei waenganui o te wāhi tētahi kaunta kai ā-ritenga i hangaia mai i te mapere me te kōpaki kirihou, he waewae whakaata piko tōna.

- Āhuatanga Motuhake
- Creating a journey on the river for the flow of space of the owners, Upon entering a 200-square-metre apartment, its living room’s the refined textures that first impress. The ceiling of entry was remodelled to create a sleek curved line, rhythm bores applied on partition walls in the living room were elegantly layered across the space to reflect the shadow of trees, like the scene from the river.
The wooden private space, it seems like a boundary between the rivers and caves warmly exits. - Inenga & Pēketanga

- By hand-craft plaster and specialist trades, the house creates an opportunity to experience the interior as a series of surfaces and textures.
We also hoped that utilising a tactile selection of material would give the space’s open floor plan a clean, brightly quality.
Dominating the centre of space is a bespoke dining counter crafted from marble and plastic sheet inlaid with a curved shape mirror leg where the sculptural object can slightly reflect natural lights and shadow movements. - Wero Hoahoa
- For the realization processes, we always conceive of ourselves as a conceptual and experimental designer with a more minimalist vision for the clients, but from a local social perspective in Taiwan, the design of residence has to use plenty of decorative elements to be magnificent.
We are intending to achieve the aesthetic of design methods and materials reconfigured and adapted to suit the needs of the local culture.
We hope that would be a magical way of process slowly extracts all the essences and aroma of Taiwan. - Rangahau
- Chinese had been developed the Xin Dian area along the river by boat since 1909. Nowadays, the development of the area has been built for river sightseeing and urban community.
The purpose of the research of the site location is to try to find out a connection between the background of the owner, the change of Xin Dian and its impacts through “homospatial thinking”.
We deeply believe that result of creating rivers and time flowing must necessarily become a unique experiment for the inhabitant to develop their own existence in the space. - Whakaaweawe
- Features of geography inspired us to make all of these things happen, such as a river surrounded by the apartment, watercourses surrounded by the location of the site.
The client’s background and story recall the character from the novel “Siddhartha” by Hermann Hesse.
Referencing the spiritual journey of self-discovery of the man in the book to the design minimalist language. The most attractive part is he learned and experienced through the river. - Roanga o te Kaupapa

- The keyframe is how to convert the invisible concept into the visible objects in the space.
Especially the concept is from a character who has been learned and experienced through the river.
We took the scenes that he saw, the means that he seeking to be free and open to profound in the inner of peace, to transforming the philosophy that we felt from the role in the book into the design processes.
We used the natural materials and form of function objects to complement the apartment’s placid interior.
It is an artful lesson on how to align comfort and simplicity. - Ngā Mema o te Rōpū
