Ko ngā toa Parahi he mahi pukenga e rite ana, he auaha mīharo, e whakatūturu ana i te wheako nui, te whakaaro me te mōhio-ā-ringa o ā rātou kaihoahoa. E tūmanakohia ana ko Fractal 9 Papa Whakairo he taonga whakanuia, whakamīharotia, aroha nui, he ngaio, he auaha hoki. Ko tēnei hoahoa i toa i te Parahi e whakauru ana i ngā tikanga pai rawa i te toi, te pūtaiao, te hoahoa me te hangarau, ā, he tino mīharo ki ngā taipitopito. Ka whakatutuki a Fractal 9 Papa Whakairo i ngā hiahia, ka pā ki ngā hiahia, ka whakaoho i ngā kare-ā-roto, ā, ka kume i te pākiki.

Hangarau Whakanao
Fractal 9 merges traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology. Its wooden modules are precisely machined using CNC milling to achieve accurate cuts and key angles. The acrylic assembly pieces are laser-cut, ensuring a perfect fit.

FSC-certified wood, transparent acrylic, and stainless steel provide sustainability, strength, and durability. The hand-applied finish enhances its aesthetics, seamlessly blending industrial precision with artisanal refinement.
Wero Hoahoa
Theoretically, the biggest challenge was the thought process required to establish the conceptual principles that underpin the model’s connection with the square, the golden ratio, and the number 9. This analysis, based on the Digital Root, revealed a coherence that transcends the project itself and gave rise to an ongoing line of research. In practice, the assembly system posed a great challenge, as the solution had to be robust enough to support the structure, yet subtle enough to integrate without compromising its aesthetics and visual perception.
Rangahau
Type of Research: Applied research. Research Objectives: To validate the geometric and mathematical consistency of the design using the Digital Root. Methodology: Quantitative analysis of angles and proportions to identify recurring patterns. Data Collection: Geometric measurements and numerical calculations to evaluate coherence. Experiments: Stability assessment across various configurations. Results: Confirmation of structural stability and recurring numerical patterns. Impact: Fractal 9 integrates art, geometry, and design, inspiring applications in architecture and applied mathematics education.
Whakaaweawe
Everything started with the need to make use of an empty space in the living room of my home. The goal was to create a piece of furniture that blended aesthetics and functionality, enhancing the space with a distinctive touch.

Over time, this initial model was analyzed through the Digital Root, unveiling significant numerical connections embedded in its structure. This discovery marked a turning point, leading to the conceptual design presented here: Fractal 9.
Roanga o te Kaupapa
The first model was created in September 2019 as a personal design exploration. Over the years, it gained deeper significance, leading to structural and aesthetic refinements. In November 2024, the latest version was developed as a conceptual design with potential for future commercialization.
Rerenga Mahi
The modular assembly is performed using an Allen wrench, enabling its transformation between an Integral Unit and two Essential Units. It adapts seamlessly to various spaces and functions serving as a bookshelf, a display surface, or a sculptural piece.

User interaction is intuitive, fostering creative exploration and customization of the environment through its flexible configuration and striking visual impact.
