- Āhuatanga Motuhake
- This design transforms a traditional bathhouse into a multisensory healing space, integrating poetic Oriental aesthetics with modern spatial logic. Through the interplay of flowing hyperbolic surfaces, minimalist structures, and emotional lighting, it elevates the bathing experience into a ritual of comfort and inner balance.
- Inenga & Pēketanga
- The project includes water bar, dining, healing, and cashier areas, integrating complex functions within a seamless spatial system. Hyperbolic wall geometry, parametric pool overflow design, modular furniture, and intelligent lighting define the technical structure and spatial programming across all zones.

- Hangarau Whakanao
- The project employs curved steel framing, hyperbolic plaster walls, Italian textured art paint, real solid wood, soft lighting systems, and parametric water circulation design. These materials and technologies are precisely coordinated to achieve seamless transitions, sensory resonance, and energy-efficient performance.
- Wero Hoahoa
- The biggest challenge was avoiding repetition with the previous store while achieving meaningful innovation. Balancing sensory aesthetics with spatial functionality required overcoming constraints in traditional perceptions of bathing spaces. Integrating healing, dining, and hospitality required cross-industry research and bold spatial redefinition.
- Rangahau
- User centered research focused on elevating customer experience in bathing spaces. Methods included service model benchmarking, behavior flow mapping, and material testing. Tools involved spatial simulation and parametric modeling. Stakeholders included designers, brand operators, and customers. Results showed sensory immersion and service segmentation improved satisfaction and brand perception.
- Whakaaweawe
- Inspired by the rise of emotional consumption and wellness demand, the design draws from five-star hotel hospitality, natural rhythm, and Eastern philosophy. It seeks to redefine bathing spaces as holistic healing destinations, where comfort, service, and sensory stimulation merge into a contemporary sanctuary for the body and soul.
- Roanga o te Kaupapa
- The project started in February 2024 in Tianjin, China and finished in December 2024.
- Rerenga Mahi
- Guests enter a fluid space where visual openness and service transparency guide movement. Interactive touchpoints such as the open water bar, healing zones, and breakfast area create smooth transitions. Spatial layering and light dynamics respond to user rhythm, making the entire experience emotionally engaging and restorative.
