Combination of 2D and 3D techniques inspired in traditional Chinese paper cutting arts to bring to life an ancient tree from fairy tales. Customers demand a strong and alluring visual impact on the main entrance. The team developed the concept of a tree, a colorful tree consisting of superimposed 2D leaves that gradually grow into 3D versions of themselves. The piece functions in an abstract and artistic plane at the same time, its uniqueness makes both, adults and children enjoy it alike.

Inspired by the traditional art of Chinese paper cutting, 2D and 3D techniques were both integrated in the project, bringing to life an ancient tree from fairy tales into the modern world. The architects visually turned elements of nature into patterns with smooth palette and lighting sets. For young-age children, safety is the primary concern of all. Simple furniture and accessories fill the volumes complemented by no-harm disposal, such as corners, columns, and touchable stuff.
