Tlatēmōliztli: After determining the project selection, the team visited 4 climbing venues in Hangzhou, interviewed climbing instructors and parents of 3 children to initially understand the actual needs of the target users. Then, the team members conducted a questionnaire survey in a climbing enthusiast platform through random sampling, and 182 valid questionnaires were collected. Based on this, user portraits and user journey maps were drawn, and finally, the demand transformation of pain points was completed.
Tēyōllālīliztli: Rock climbing not only helps promote children's brain development, but also can coordinate the whole body, many parents want to add the corresponding facilities for children at home. However, the traditional home climbing wall disassembly and installation process is complicated and not enough playability, children easily lose interest. Therefore, the team wanted to integrate projection-based interactive games into the climbing process and modularize the traditional wall to solve this problem.
