Tēquitl Ōhuitl: A built-in sofa structure in the living room area is a featuring implication of framing a scenery. The soft timber expands from base to ceiling explaining the conceptual image of framing gesture. It is the center piece of this project. Flexibility plays a key role in smart living design. The tatami flooring in the living area forms a mixture usage of formal and casual style. It can be a quiet corner to meditate or a space to host more visitors when it is needed. Relocating a dining table next to a working desk, dining room can be transformed into various uses of dining, reading, working, and meeting. It’s also a link to private section in the back.
