Over Phan Collection Meubelcollectie
Phan Collection is geïnspireerd op de Phan-container, een Thaise containercultuur. De ontwerper gebruikt de structuur van Phan-containers om de structuur van meubels te maken die het sterk maakt. Ontwerp de vorm en details die het modern en eenvoudig maken. De ontwerper gebruikte lasergesneden technologie en een vouwmachine in combinatie met CNC-hout om een complex en uniek detail te maken dat anders is dan andere. Het oppervlak is afgewerkt met een poedercoating systeem waardoor de structuur lang, sterk maar licht blijft.

- We take inspired from Phan container that is a Thai container culture. the unique identity of thai container used to make furniture that feels Modern Thai. We try to push the products that represent the uniqueness of Thai but transferred to international design. So we just take the identity of Phan. Applied to innovation, Production, and technology that we have. Created work to make a difference in both the Thai and global markets.
- Projectduur
- The project started in September 2017 in Bangkok and finished in March 2018 in Bangkok, was exhibited in Bangkok design week 2018 and STYLE 2018, Bangkok, Thailand.
- Werkproces
- We calculate the strong structure of the folded sheet metal to make the lightest structure. The degree of softness in the metal sheet caused by folding. To make a different sheet metal work. And sit comfortably than the other steel furniture. We mix wood material but it can use in outdoor because we use HDF wood grade that can use. We think about drain of water in furniture design and strong structure to make furniture stable and strong.
