Mawu a M'buku: Shade ndi shelefu yogawa chipinda yopangidwa kutengera shoji, chitseko chojambulika cha ku Japan chopangidwa ndi mafelemu amatabwa ndi pepala lopyapyala la ku Japan. Felemu ndi mapaneli am'mbali amapangidwa ndi mtengo wa mkungudza (cedar), ndipo pepala lopyapyala, lodziwika kuti washi, limamatikidwa pa mafelemu amatabwawo. Mithunzi ya zinthu zomwe zili kumbuyo kwa shelefuyo imatha kuonekera kudzera mu washi. Maonekedwe ake amatha kusinthidwa mwa kugwiritsa ntchito mitundu yosiyanasiyana ya washi, kusiya mafelemu ena wopanda chophimba, kapena kusuntha mafelemuwo. Washi is pasted on the wooden frame so that you can enjoy the shadows of objects that can be seen through it or you can also enjoy by changing to the different kinds of Washi. You can also change the appearance of the shelf by creating a surface with or without Washi, or by moving the wooden frame.

- This furniture is the shelf which basde on the Shoji that is Japanese sliding doors consisting of wooden frames and thin Japanese paper.

1. Remove the wooden frame from the shelf and fit it into the special mold.
2. Apply glue to the wooden frame.
3. Paste washi cut to the size of the wooden frame.
4. Spray water with a mist spray.
