Ndizosangalatsa kudziwa momwe zinthu zimayendera m'mbiri ina komanso zikhalidwe zina. Izi zidapangitsa kuti pakhale Sousmotif, chopangira chopanga chomwe chimalimbikitsidwa ndi zojambula zomwe zimapangidwa ndi nsalu zomwe zimapangidwa ndi nsalu yapamwamba ku Northern Greece. Mbiri imapitilira kudzera pakupanga komanso kusintha.

Sousmotif Coaster ndi mmodzi mwa opambana a Mphoto ya Chitsulo ya A' Design Award, kuzindikirika kolemekezeka komwe kumaperekedwa kwa mapangidwe abwino omwe amakwaniritsa zofunika za akatswiri ndi za makampani zomwe zimayembekezeka kuchokera ku zolengedwa zopangidwa bwino. Opambana a Chitsulo amaonetsa luso lalikulu, ukatswiri wapamwamba, kumvetsetsa kwa akatswiri ndi mphamvu yolenga ya opanga awo. Sousmotif Coaster akuyembekezeka kukhala cholengedwa choyamikiridwa kwambiri, chosirira ndi chokondedwa chomwe ndi chothandiza ndi chatsopano. Mapangidwe opambana Mphoto ya Chitsulo ya A' Design Award awa amaphatikiza machitidwe abwino kwambiri a makampani ndipo ali ndi makhalidwe a ukadaulo oyenerera olumikizidwa ndi chidziwitso ndi luso. Sousmotif Coaster amalemekezedwa chifukwa cha kusamala kwake ndipo anapangidwa kuti apereke kukonza kwa moyo kumene kumathandiza kusandutsa dziko kukhala malo abwino.

- The idea that one coaster could be multiplied into two and also combine the two different materials or not into various combinations according to the user's aesthetics was very intriguing to me.

Because of the different nature of the materials, there was a lot of fine tuning that took place in order to reach the desired result. - Vuto la Dizayini
- The transition from the folklore past to the present situation made me to lean first to wood as a natural material which would be complemented with Plexiglas. Keeping in mind the factor of sturdiness and after several tests with different types of wood, okoume plywood seemed to be the finest solution. The wish to get the user to create hers or his personal touch according to how they will combine or not these different materials and shapes led us to the design of a well-balanced product with a profound reference to Greece's recent past.

- I was always intrigued by the technical skills of the users of the traditional looms in Greece and the fine and rich results they were able to deliver through a vast number of motifs created on textiles. My idea was to brake down these motifs into simplified forms that they would be able to live through objects of our everyday life.
- Chilimbikitso
- In search for a new generation of souvenirs that would bring up hidden aspects of our history, I came up with Soumotif. It is a coaster which is inspired by the motif found on textiles produced by a traditional loom in Northern Greece. The motif from a textile, is transformed into a 3D object, which is brought into our everyday lives through a coaster.

- The project started in March 2016 in Athens and finished in July 2016 in Athens, and was exhibited in It's all, oh so souvenir to me Vol. 4, Thessaloniki Greece

- Each set consists of 4 coasters which by being able to be multiplied give us 8 coasters in total. When a coaster is placed on a surface, a negative or a positive footprint of the motif is created on it.
