Lo design se basa sus lo pati tradicional chinés, un simbòl de longa data de la vida domestica e de la cultura. La disposicion seguís l'idèa d'unitat entre lo pòble, l'arquitectura e la natura, en plaçant de jardins, d'arbres e de cèl dubèrt dins l'espaci bastit. Los materials includisson lo boès de cassia siamea, la pèira grisa de riu, la dolomita, l'acièr inoxidable de bronze e lo veire filat pintat a la man. Lo projècte comencèt a Shanghai en octòbre de 2017 e foguèt acabat a Nantong en setembre de 2019.
