With teak finishes in natural or weathered and multiple color options for the frame, the Arms lounge chair provides flexibility to fit any outdoor environment. An optional fabric cushion provides added comfort and flexibility to create looks to match any environment. - Desaffo de Dissènh
- Wood expands and swells when used in an outdoor setting where sheet aluminum is fairly consistent. The leg attachment to the frame was engineered to account for the teak swelling. A post is welded to the frame that runs in a hole in the center of the leg. The leg is secured with epoxy from the center so that it can swell within the aluminum frame.
- Recèrca
- An ergonomic model was created that allows for adjustment of length and angle of the seat, leg, back and lumbar. Adjusting the angles and length of the components allowed for the geometry to be tested by various users for maximum comfort.
- Inspiracion
- The Arms outdoor lounge chair gains inspiration from the feeling of peace and relaxation. The design was conceived and sketched while overlooking a couple resting on the beach. The angled back legs relate to a human form reminiscent of a person sitting on the ground leaning back with their weight on their arms. The mood at the beach is energetic yet relaxed and social and the form of the Arms Lounger reflects those characteristics.
