Quietvale to przenośna lampa biurkowa z funkcją bezprzewodowego ładowania urządzeń osobistych. Korpus lampy wykonany jest z jednego kawałka hiszpańskiego kamienia chmurowego, ukształtowanego metodą frezowania CNC i wykończonego przezroczystą powłoką ochronną. Podstawę stanowi metalowa rama wykonana metodą tradycyjnego odlewania w piasku, wewnątrz której umieszczono moduł ładowania bezprzewodowego oraz pakiet baterii. Ukryta metalowa konstrukcja podtrzymuje kamień podczas przenoszenia. Lekkie dotknięcie korpusu lampy włącza lub wyłącza światło, a przytrzymanie dłoni przed lampą pozwala regulować jasność.

Technologia Produkcji: The lamp body is crafted from a solid piece of Spanish cloud stone shaped by CNC carving, with a transparent protective coating applied to the surface. The base is formed through traditional sand-casting to create the metal frame, integrating wireless charging modules and lithium battery packs internally. The cloud stone and metal structure are connected with hidden snap-fit fasteners, while all wiring is enclosed within the frame, seamlessly integrating functionality and aesthetics.
Wyzwanie Projektowe: The most challenging aspect of this design was balancing the substantial texture of natural cloud stone with the structural strength required for portability. To ensure the stability of the fragile stone during mobile use, the team conducted repeated tests and ultimately adopted a composite structure with a hidden metal frame and partial lining. This solution maintains the stone's visual integrity while meeting the mechanical demands of portable usage.
Badania: This research explores combining the timeless quality of natural materials with smart technology. Using Spanish marble and traditional sand-casting preserves its texture and inherent warmth.
