A fonte 87MM Ilsang foi projetada considerando os valores cotidianos buscados pela marca 87MM. A fonte oblíqua em coreano é a primeira deste tipo a ser desenvolvida na Coreia. Ao interpretar os números 8 e 7 como proporção e ângulo da fonte, a área das letras foi projetada como um espaço de 8:7, e o tamanho das letras fechadas entre as consoantes do Hangeul (Alfabeto Coreano) foi ajustado usando essa proporção. Os ângulos de 8 e 7 graus foram utilizados como elementos morfológicos, como hastes e terminais, para harmonizar as características da escrita manual que aparecem ao escrever de forma inclinada.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the brand's launch in 2011, he has designed a dedicated font that can show the identity of 87MM. Anyone who likes 87MM and enjoys it can download and use it for free.

Desafio de Design: By interpreting the numbers 8 and 7 as the ratio and angle of the font, the area of the letters was designed as a space of 8:7, and the size of the closed letters among the consonants of Hangeul was adjusted using this ratio. Pesquisa: When designing fonts, it is common to expand the font family to thickness. However, in East Asia, along with Korean fonts, there is no concept of Western italic fonts or oblique fonts due to the culture of writing using brushes and writing in the vertical direction. Therefore, the font family was intended to be expanded to general and inclined bodies, not to be expanded by thickness. The oblique font in Korean is the first font to be attempted in Korea.
Inspiração: The font of 87MM Ilsang is designed with consideration for the daily value pursued by the 87MM brand. Ordinary days that repeat every day gather to create a daily life. However, even if he repeat the same pattern, He wanted to create a font where he could discover new meanings and fun in ordinary things in his daily life and feel the specialty of something a little different. Therefore, 87MM Ilsang has a unique color of 87MM in its ordinary textual Min-Buri (Sans Serif) font.
Duração do Projeto: The project began in Seoul, South Korea in March 2021 and ended in January 2022. You can download and use the font for free from January 2022.
