«Akchurin New York» — книга в твёрдом переплёте, выпущенная ограниченным тиражом и посвящённая автономной архитектуре с нулевым энергопотреблением. Издание увеличенного формата насчитывает 512 страниц с фотографиями, техническими схемами и иллюстрациями, раскрывающими процесс строительства от первоначальной концепции до готового объекта. Глянцевая чёрная обложка выполнена из бумаги Favini Classy Covers с горячим тиснением графитовой фольгой. Каждый из 100 экземпляров подписан и пронумерован и поставляется в изготовленном на заказ футляре или в шкатулке из чёрного дерева с тиснением фольгой. Книга фиксирует инженерные решения для устойчивого строительства.

Only 100 limited edition books are personally signed and numbered: the custom slipcase or ebony box with hot foil stamping and fortified construction make it a collectors edition.

Дизайнерская задача: The biggest challenge for this project was collecting, formatting, and processing the information for this complex house, including engineering developments, patents, and inventions. All the book content, including photos, visualizations, texts, diagrams, and illustrations, was created from scratch by a team from five different countries. Only one printing house agreed to produce this oversized, handcrafted book.
Исследование: The objective was to create self-sufficient building technology and publish the results. The research broadened into an analysis of the net-zero energy building market and the possibility of entering the global market. Development and prototyping of the houses using three-dimensional information models of all the engineering systems and equipment were completed. For over 5 years, a highly qualified team has been formed, and patents and copyrights were obtained for intellectual property.

When remarkable ideas challenge tradition, they leave a mark on society in a way that commands respect. This oversize book feels heavy, like the weighing crisis of global warming.
