Ibyerekeye Waves Umukufi

Waves ni umukufi wakozwe muri sterling silver yavuguruwe. Imiterere y'uyu mukufi yigana urugendo rw'amazi n'imisatsi izinga. Ubuso bwacyo butagira urumuri bwakozwe hakoreshejwe uburyo bw'urushinge, kandi busa n'ubwoya bwitwa suede. Igice cy'umwimerere cyakoreshejwe mu gushongesha no gukora igishushanyo cyakozwe n'intoki, hazizingwa impapuro za wax ashyushye hakoreshejwe ibyuma bitanga imiterere. Buri gice cy'umukufi gifite umuraba munini hagati yacyo, gikikijwe n'imiraba mito, kugira ngo hakorwe urugendo rusanzwe n'igishushanyo giteganye neza. Uyu mukufi urangwa n'ibirori ariko woroshye kwambara. Iyi silver ntabwo yashyizweho ubwato, kandi imikorere ikorerwa mu Bufinilande.

Waves Umukufi ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cya Ifeza, ishimwe ridasanzwe ry'agaciro gakomeye ritangwa ku bishushanyo byo ku rwego rwo hejuru, byiza kandi bikora ku mutima. Abegukanye Ifeza ni ibihangano by'ubuhanga bukomeye kandi bifite guhanga kwinshi, bigaragaza ubuhanga bwimbitse, impano n'ubushishozi bw'ababihanze. Waves Umukufi biteganyijwe ko izaba igihangano cy'icyitegererezo, gifite ubunyamwuga bukomeye n'udushya twimbitse. Iki gishushanyo cyegukanye Ifeza ni igihangano kizwi kandi gishimwa, gifasha kugura imbibi z'ubuhanzi, ubumenyi, ubushushanyo n'ikoranabuhanga. Waves Umukufi ni igihangano benshi bifuza, gikangura ibyifuzo, gitanga amarangamutima meza kandi gitera igitangaza.

Ibintu Bidasanzwe: The design project has started from the idea of womanhood diversity and a need to create something that is precious. Waves necklace form expresses water and hair. The necklaces matt surface is suede like but made from silver. The original piece for casting and mold making has been hand made by bending warm wax sheet with form giving irons. The flowing form was accomplished by controlled artisan skills. Casted silver parts have been finished by hand and joined together. The necklace is made from recycled silver in Finland.

Ikibazo cy'Ishusho: The hardest part of the design process was to make something as balanced and at the same time ambitiously beautiful for women to wear. Fitting is always important and I has to come naturally.
Ubushakashatsi: Waves project started with my admiration to women of all kinds. I see women as unique individuals who deserve more encouragement for themselves. It should be easy to love yourself everyday no matter what. First models were made from reindeer suede. Then the experimental design process moved onwards to wax sheets. I formed wax with heat and different shaped jewelry making irons and hand tools. The final product has the light feeling and the looks of suede even though it is made from silver. Waves necklace has grown in to a jewelry set with bracelet, two different sized pendants and earrings.
Ibyatumye Habaho: Waves necklace is based on Botticellis painting The birth od Venus. Waves is a praise to womanhood in all of its forms. The jewelry design reflects waves of water and hair and the curves of a woman.
Igihe cy'Umushinga: The project started in September 2017 and the first necklace was finished in September 2018 in Sonkajarvi, Finland.
Uburyo bw'Imikorere: Necklace is massive and very festive but still very light for its looks. Waves finishes the red carpet look for everyone who wears it. The Waves necklaces length can be adjusted to fit different sized women. Each piece adds the length approximately 2 cm.
