Ikoranabuhanga ryo Guteza Imbere: First a ring setting was drawn on paper and transferred to the computer to create a computer model. The design was then casted and a raw rock crystal was cut to fit the setting. The top surface of the rock crystal was measured in order to create the top metal piece filled with diamonds.

Once the diamonds are set, the top piece is affixed to the rock crystal by drilling holes on the surface of the gemstone. The rock crystal and the metal piece is then joined together.
