Ikibazo cy'Ishusho: To meet increasingly stringent regulations and pivot toward sustainable mobility, the engineering team balanced performance metrics with improved energy efficiency, tire noise and wear resistance. Through many rounds of design and testing, Maxxis engineers developed a high-strength pattern with optimized pitch sequencing that worked in harmony with the newly developed EV compound. This breakthrough allows the Victra Sport EV to further enhance the performance of EVs and also achieve outstanding results in EU regulatory certification testing.
Ubushakashatsi: Most tires for internal combustion vehicles are not a great match for an EV’s performance envelope and will erode some of the environmental benefits of driving an EV. Maxxis’ design team created the Victra Sport EV using various innovative optimization technologies, sparking great interest at trade shows and among the automotive aftermarket industry. The Victra Sport EV’s innovative design has also drawn the attention of competitors, and Maxxis hopes that the Victra Sport EV will push the entire industry forward.
Ibyatumye Habaho: Driven by global energy policies, the market share for electric vehicles has risen rapidly. Due to the lack of charging infrastructure, low motor noise, high motor torque and extra weight, EV drivers are mostly concerned about range, tire noise and frequent tire replacements. Victra Sport EV is engineered to address these concerns and improves energy efficiency, tire noise, and tread life.
