Ceramics Extension චිත්‍ර ස්ථාපනය පිළිබඳව
සාම්ප්‍රදායික අතින් සාදන ලද පිඟන් මැටි මූර්ති සහ ත්‍රිමාණ මුද්‍රිත ප්ලාස්ටික් මූර්ති මගින් ස්ථාපනය සිදු කෙරේ. කලාව සහ නිර්මාණය උත්සාහ කරන්නේ සෑම වස්තුවක්ම, සෑම කෙනෙකුම, සෑම දෙයක්ම අනන්ත ලෙස විස්තාරණය වන බව ප්‍රේක්ෂකයන්ට ප්‍රබල හැඟීමක් සන්නිවේදනය කිරීමට ය. මූර්ති පැවතීමත් සමඟ, එය ඔවුන් දකින වස්තූන්ගේ කොටසක් සැබෑ බව සන්නිවේදනය කරයි, නමුත් අනෙක් වස්තූන් දර්පණ මගින් පරාවර්තනය වන අතර එය යථාර්ථයක් නොවේ. අන්තර්ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය මිනිසුන් විසින් තමන් විසින්ම නිර්මාණය කරන ලද මන fant කල්පිත ලෝකයකට පිවිසෙන බව සිතීමට සලස්වයි.

Ceramics Extension චිත්‍ර ස්ථාපනය ඉහළින් අගය කරන, ප්‍රශංසා කරන සහ ආදරය කරන දෙයක් වනු ඇතැයි අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ, කැපී පෙනෙන ලෙස වෘත්තීය සහ නවීන. - අනන්‍ය ලක්ෂණ
- The installation is formed by traditional handmade ceramics sculptures and 3D printed plastic sculptures. There is a total of 130 pieces of sculptures in the installation space. The installation is designed to display in a space surrounded by reflected glass mirrors, with 5 LED lights that give the audience a fantasy and futuristic feeling. The meaning of the installation design is trying to show the communication between the future and the past, modern technology and traditional handicraft, the real world and the virtual world.

- half of the sculptures in the installation are 3D printed, dimension variable; the other half of the sculptures are handmade, dimension variable as well. the dimension of the space is a box, 15m*15m*15m

- The arrangement of the sculptures was one of the challenges in the design process. Some of the ceramics were too heavy to use ropes to hold and connect it with the roof. Therefore, most of the sculptures are remade and reprinted by the 3D printer, using lighter materials then sprayed by the glazed-look white color to the surface.
- පර්යේෂණ
- The reflective material was the key to this design. Different materials combine with LED lights have different visual effects. Glass, Acrylic, and mirrors cannot demonstrate a good visual effect because of the reflection range are limited, as well as when the light is being reflected, the feeling wasn't satisfied. The installation took lots of tests in order to see if the fantasy feeling can be presented. The optimal result is shown in the final design, which is to use aluminum mirrors as the main materials.
- ආශ්වාදනය
- The relationship between the virtual world and the real world generates the form of this installation design, as well as the traditional method of crafting versus what can be crafted with contemporary technologies. The development of civilization proceeds as time goes on. Therefore, the mirror reflection in the interior space of the installation shows the infinite possibility of what time can change. Technology allows humans to define what is real and what is virtual and all the connections.

- The project started in 2016 in Beijing and finished in 2017. It was exhibited in Beijing Today Art Museum in 2017.
- ක්‍රියාකාරී ප්‍රවාහය
- When the audiences step into the installation space, they will sense a feeling of visual infinity. The visual interaction generates a strong feeling to the audiences that every object, everyone, everything is being extended infinitely. With the presence of sculpture, it is communicating part of the objects they see are real, but the other objects are the reflection by the mirrors, which is unreal. The interaction makes people think that they are stepping into a fantasy world that is created by themselves.
