Modern Chinese ආසන පුටුව පිළිබඳව
Modern Chinese යනු අසුන් ගැනීම සඳහා අදහස් කරන ලද, කලා නිර්මාණයක් ලෙස ප්‍රදර්ශනය කිරීමටද සුදුසු ආසන පුටුවකි. එහි හැඩය සම්ප්‍රදායික චීන ආසන පුටුවෙන් සහ Marcel Breuer ගේ No. B33 පුටුවෙන් ණයට ගෙන ඇත. CNC සැකසුම මගින් plywood සහ ඝන walnut දැව ද්‍රවශීල හා බාධාවකින් තොර හැඩතලයකට හැඩගස්වා, සම්ප්‍රදායික ඉදිකිරීම්වල කෝණික කොටස් සහ දැව වැඩ සන්ධි ප්‍රතිස්ථාපනය කරයි. ශරීර බර දැරීමට හැකි වන පරිදි දැවයේ ව්‍යුහය සහ ශක්තිය ගණනය කරන ලදී. පළමුව ලෝහ නළ රාමුවක් අධ්‍යයනය කරන ලද නමුත්, එහි උණුසුම් පෙනුම නිසා දැව තෝරා ගන්නා ලදී.

Modern Chinese ආසන පුටුව යනු A' Design Award රිදී සම්මානය දිනූ නිර්මාණයකි; ඉහළම පෙළේ, සුන්දර සහ ආකර්ශනීය නිර්මාණ සඳහා පිරිනමන අසාමාන්‍ය ලෙස ගෞරවනීය පිළිගැනීමකි. රිදී ජයග්‍රාහී නිර්මාණ අතිශය දීප්තිමත් සහ ඉතා නිර්මාණශීලී කෘති වන අතර නිර්මාණකරුවන්ගේ විශිෂ්ට විශේෂඥතාව, දක්ෂතාව සහ සියුම් බුද්ධිය පෙන්වයි. Modern Chinese ආසන පුටුව විස්මයජනක, ආදර්ශවත්, ඉතා වෘත්තීය සහ ගැඹුරින් නවීන කෘතියක් වනු ඇතැයි අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ. Modern Chinese ආසන පුටුව බොහෝ දෙනා ඊර්ෂ්‍යා කරන නිර්මාණයක් වන අතර ආශාවන් අවදි කරයි, ධනාත්මක හැඟීම් ගෙන එයි සහ විස්මය ඇති කරයි.

- The overall concept is to borrow the shape of traditoinal Chinese armchair and fused with current technology and material such as CNC processing and plywood to create a modern and organic looking Chinese style furniture.

Plywood, solid wood(walnut) - නිර්මාණ අභියෝගය
- The most challenging part of this chair concept is to design proper structure and calculate wood strength enable to support people's weight. The original idea was to use metal tube and bending technique to create the chair structure, but the finish appearance looks too cold and contemporary, therefore, the material was switched from metal back to wood.
- පර්යේෂණ
- For this project the idea/design was just pop into my head when I was reading a book called "Encyclopedia of China Traditional Furniture Making and Appreciation" Therefore, it is difficult to position this chair as a design piece or an art work.
- ආශ්වාදනය
- Modern Chinese Armchair was inspired by traditional Chinese armchair and Marcel Breuer's No. B33 chair design. The original motive was not to simplified a traditional Chinese armchair into a modern looking one, but to borrowed the design from the past and infused with present technology and material to expand a new style of Chinese furniture.
