O dizajne Artika Horizon Primárna funkcia: Náramkové hodinky

Artika Horizon sú náramkové hodinky, ktoré je možné nosiť aj vo vrecku alebo okolo krku. Šnúrka na remienku nahrádza bežné časti remienka, čím hodinkám dodáva jednoduchú a spoľahlivú konštrukciu. Remienok sa zapína pomocou špeciálnej spony a táto spona premení hodinky na prívesok, ktorý si možno zavesiť na krk alebo pripevniť na oblečenie. Puzdro je vyrobené z kovu a má priemer 43 mm a hĺbku 9 mm. Výroba je plánovaná prostredníctvom aditívnej výroby alebo CNC frézovania. Tvar bol inšpirovaný čiernou dierou a jej horizontom udalostí a šnúrka symbolizuje zakrivenie priestoru okolo času.

Výskum: The project started as part of a master's project and is part of a collaboration with the Barcelona-based design studio Anima. The task was to develop the concept of a wrist watch for the Artika brand. The main task of the project was to develop a watch that reflects the philosophy of Artik. Also, the idea of the project is the theme of space and time and an attempt to reflect them in the form of a wristwatch. Attempting to integrate the mataphor into both form and function is the basic idea.
Inšpirácia: The Horizon watch is the final version of this project. This watches reflect the main ideas of the first iterations, which were inspired by the Black Hole and its event horizon, how space can bend under the influence of large forces. So in this watch - the cord symbolizes a space that bends around time beyond its control
Trvanie projektu: The project started in September 2019 in St. Petersburg and ended in January 2020 in Saint-Petersburg
Pracovný postup: The watch is put on the hand and pulled together with a special clip. This clip turns the watch into a pendant accessory that can be hung around the neck or tied to clothes. The crown is a separate piece due to its design. The crown is inserted into a special hole, after which the watch can be wound.
