O dizajne Bradco Primárna funkcia: Továrenská budova

Text knihy: Bradco je priemyselná budova navrhnutá na výrobu remienkov na hodinky a luxusného kožené tovaru v Castelo de Paiva v Portugalsku. Továreň je koncipovaná okolo prirodzeného svetla. Na streche bolo umiestnených niekoľko svetlíkov, aby výrobná plocha zostala pre zamestnancov jasná a presvetlená. Na exteriéri bol použitý miestny kameň spolu so sklom a oceľou, aby sa budova prepojila so svojím územím. Veľké presklené plochy vytvárajú priehľadnosť medzi interiérom a okolitou krajinou. Projekt bol realizovaný v rokoch 2019 až 2020.

Dizajnérska výzva: Bradco was a huge creative challenge for EM Paralelo. It was a very attractive architectural project due to its industrial characteristics and for being able to combine a factory in such a beautiful landscape. Representing Bradco in Portugal was a source of pride. Being able to contribute to the growth of the factory and the number of jobs was very challenging.
Výskum: Bradco industry is an industrial unit in Castelo de Paiva. With the objective of strengthening research and technological development and Innovation, a process that has led, above all, to the increase in jobs, the company of the Swiss business group Brasport activated an investment of more than 3.1 million euros, with financing of more of 1.5 million euros. Company in the sector of manufacture of bracelets and luxury leather goods, in which it assumes itself as a leader.
Inšpirácia: The inspiration for this project was above all the challenge of designing a different industry with local characteristics.
Materials such as stone from the region, glass and steel were explored.
The landscape was very important in defining the project as it allowed a lot of transparency between the interior and the exterior.
Light has also always been an inspiration for there to be light, especially in the production area.
Trvanie projektu: Bradco started in 2019 and ended in 2020
Pracovný postup: Brasport is in charge of several production sites and each year manufactures more than two million watch straps and leather goods for all market segments. It is also able to provide after-sales services on behalf of its customers, working directly with its branches and stores. The key, as with each of their collaborations, is a design tailored to meet specific needs that further the values of each partner.
