O dizajne Marilyn Náramok

Marilyn je náramok navrhnutý pre formálne a poloformálne príležitosti. Plynulý tvar vyjadruje kučery a vietor na pláži. Marilyn je vyrobený z recyklovaného, nepokoveného 14-karátového zlata, známeho aj ako zlato 585, v meste Sonkajärvi vo Fínsku. Použitá je technika odlievania na vytavovaný vosk a tradičné zlatnícke techniky, povrch je vyleštený. Náramok sleduje tvar zápästia a kostnú štruktúru, takže priľne stabilne a pohodlne. Šperk je možné tvarovať podľa ruky. Cieľom je veľký a nápadný tvar, ktorý sa napriek tomu nosí ľahko.

Dizajnérska výzva: The challenge of this design project was to create light and luxurious feeling into a celebrity inspired jewelry. It was to make the jewelry user feel the perfection and child like joy in design. It was also important to express the movement and bring Marilyn's personality in to the jewelry.
Výskum: In Marilyn jewelry project the main fields of study were in luxury feeling flowy design that expresses the actress Marilyn Monroes character and makes the jewelry user to feel itself confident and beautiful when appearing in events for dress code Formal or Semi-formal. It was also important to reach the feeling of steady and stable weightless wearability of big and showy jewelry. This was achieved with good balance experiments and several fittings with different body types.
Inšpirácia: Marilyn makes us think of how we treat people who live by publicity and being a star. Where is the line between personal life and show business or politics. Marilyns' life is well stored in photographs. Through them it s possible to see her as a human being who faces changes and winds of life. All though her hair might be done perfect she is still the same wild, loving and caring person as she was in the beginning of her career. She deserves to be admired as herself.
Trvanie projektu: The project started in January 2020 and finished in February 2024 in Sonkajarvi, Finland.
Pracovný postup: The jewelry set is made to follow the users movements. It is made to be noticeable by the audience but not the user itself. The bracelet follows the shape of a wrist and bone structure to feel stable and fit. It can be shaped to fit ones hand.
