The depth of the upper part is designed as per the extremely shallow state of the Tazza cup. The Tazza cup was regarded as a symbol of social status in Italy during the 16th century. To drink from such a shallow glass without spillage, the superb craftsmanship as well as the user's attention on the drink itself are also indispensable.

Fa'aosofia: Since the shape of wine glass will bring influence on the user's sense of taste and smell, I’ve studied various existing wine glasses during the design to decide on the shape and the wine type it’s suitable to contain.
Umi o le Poloketi: The project started in October 2021 in London and finished in February 2022 in Jingdezhen.
Fa'agasologa o Galuega: The drinking process will consist of two stages: the stage in the shallow upper part and the stage in the deep lower part. When the drinker starts to enjoy the wine in the upper part, the large opening of the glass can help the aroma diffuse more quickly to agitate the olfactory experience. When enjoying the wine in the lower part, because the small diameter in the middle can reduce the oxidation rate of the wine so that the taste will not be changed.
