Reusable je preklopiva čaša dizajnirana za napitke koji se konzumiraju van kuće. Čaša se sklapa u kompaktan oblik koji staje u džep ili torbu. Reusable je izrađena od prehrambenog silikona i plastike bez BPA, oblikovane postupkom injekcionog livenja. Čaša ima zapreminu od 250 ml i dimenzije 87 mm širine i 122 mm visine. Da bi se čaša otvorila, gornji obod se povlači naviše dok se ne fiksira na mestu. Da bi se čaša zatvorila, obod se gura nadole dok se ne sklopi u ravan oblik. Reusable predstavlja alternativu jednokratnim čašama i doprinosi smanjenju otpada.

Технологија производње: The foldable cup design was achieved through iterative prototyping using CAD software. We employed injection molding for precision in mass production, utilizing food-grade silicone and BPA-free plastic to ensure safety and durability.

Creatively, we faced the obstacle of ensuring the cup could fold efficiently without compromising its structural integrity. The final concept of the foldable cup emerged as a response to countless iterations, material testing, paper prototyping, and 3D printing.

Paper prototypes were used for proportion and geometry relationships, and 3D printing prototyping with soft plastics was used to test shape and thicknesses. Followed by extensive research on materials from which to manufacture.
Инспирација: Reusable's journey began with a simple question: How can we make eco-friendly choices effortlessly integrated into our routine? Inspired by the beauty of simplicity and functionality followed by the quest to create a solution that combines convenience with sustainability. Reusable boasts a unique collapsible design that transforms it from a full-sized cup into a compact, pocket-friendly form factor.
Трајање пројекта: The idea was born in 2019, but the project commenced in January 2023 and concluded in April 2024. The design and development phases took place in Bulgaria. This timeline allowed for extensive research, prototyping, and user testing, ensuring the final product met high standards of functionality and sustainability.
Ток рада: The foldable cup is easy to use. To operate, simply expand the cup by pulling on the top rim until it locks into place. To collapse, push down gently until it folds flat.
