Dipatlisiso: Memorial piece is in memory of the devotions of the health sector warriors. They truly never gave up during the pandemic period of Covid-19 and they healed the wounds of the patients by dignity. The circular part of the necklace is a symbol of the light the surrounds the nurses whom have struggled during the Corona pandemic period to protect the lives of people and gave their lives in this path and the bandoleer on the memorial and the gemstones (jewel) on the base of this piece are the symbol of gratitude of the health and remedy staff.
Kgothaletso: 2020 was undoubtedly an exceptional year. Everyone witnessed how the medical team faced a lot of problems due to Covid-19. In this year, the devotion of health protectors was like a medal for the performance of medical society and will remain in the memory of history. Perseverance, and the endeavor of these people despite their tiredness and scarred faces, were all the inspirations for the design and making of memorial to cherish their memory.
