The device continuously monitors operational status in real-time and ceases spraying when away from the mouth.
Dipatlisiso: The design process involved conducting actual user research, addressing the hand sizes of children at different ages to create an optimal and comfortable grip for diverse users. On-site visits were conducted to gain insights into the genuine needs of parents and users.
User feedback and input from medical professionals were utilized to determine the most suitable water pressure for children. Additionally, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) were employed to test the acceptability of the product's appearance and assess pricing strategies.
Kgothaletso: The K30 oral irrigator is designed specifically for children aged 3 to 14. It has a lovely and unique appearance, resembling the No-Face Character from the movie "Spirited Away", and is loved by many children. The overall design style is simple, with bright colors and minimal decorations, which meet the aesthetic preferences of today’s children.
