Om Yappy Bookstore Inredningsdesign för bokhandel

Yappy Bookstore är en multifunktionell bokhandelsinredning i Taipei, Taiwan, på 450 kvadratmeter. Utrymmet används för läsning, filmvisningar, föreläsningar och musikframträdanden. Den gamla byggnadens stora bjälkar och pelare behandlas som kameraramar som styr blickarna genom rummen. Antika böcker, tegel, järn, gamla fönsterkarmar och betong kombineras, så att gamla och nya ytor möts utan en tydlig gräns. En röd bokvägg leder besökarna genom inredningen. Små öppningar i väggarna släpper in dagsljus, och en hög scen suddar ut gränsen mellan artister och publik.

Designutmaning: It is a challenge to limit the angle of looking for viewing in a long and narrow space as the core of the field. The original large arc-shaped window allows too much light to enter the field, and the interleaved arrangement of walls and windows is deliberately designed to form the spatial charm of the light beam. Yappy Bookstore is like the experience of wanting to enter Alice in Wonderland. With the red line taking over the space, the red book wall leads into a magical field where time flows in the literary space.
