Talash Sarkıt Lamba Hakkında

Talash, preslenmiş pirinç talaşlarından üretilen bir sarkıt lambadır. Talaşlar, talaşlı imalatın bir yan ürünü olup fabrika üretiminden toplanmakta ve yüksek basınç altında sıkıştırılarak sağlam abajurlara dönüştürülmektedir. Sıkıştırılmış doku her parçada farklıdır ve ışığın açısı ile yoğunluğu değiştikçe değişken ışık desenleri oluşturur. Şeffaf bir vernik ya da nano-seramik kaplama, pirinci oksidasyona karşı korur ve altın rengi tonunu muhafaza eder. Her aydınlatma armatürü yaklaşık üç ila beş kilogram ağırlığındadır ve sıcak veya nötr ışık veren LED uyumlu duylar kullanır.

Benzersiz Özellikler: Talash redefines the boundaries between industrial waste and design by transforming high-pressure pressed brass shavings into decorative lighting. The texture of compressed shavings creates a unique visual appeal, with each piece distinct in its natural randomness. Emphasizing sustainability, it highlights the interplay of texture, light, and material. A protective coating prevents oxidation, ensuring durability and preserving its golden hue over time.
Boyutlar ve Ambalaj: The fixture is crafted from pressed brass shavings with a protective coating. It features LED-compatible fittings, offering warm and neutral light options. The weight varies by model, approximately 3-5 kg per fixture. A 150 cm cable with an on/off switch is included. The surface finish showcases a natural brass texture with a matte protective coating.

Üretim Teknolojisi: It utilizes a high-pressure pressing technique to transform brass shavings into solid, structured forms suitable for lighting fixtures. The process involves collecting the daily production of approximately tons of brass shavings from the factory, which are then compressed into durable shapes. To prevent oxidation and ensure the longevity of the brass components, a clear protective lacquer is applied after pressing. Alternatively, a nano-ceramic coating can be used to provide an eco-friendly and long-lasting protective layer while maintaining the natural metallic appearance.
Tasarım Zorluğu: The primary challenge in the Talash project was determining the optimal pressure and process for pressing the brass shavings into stable forms without compromising the visual texture. Balancing durability with the delicate appearance of the compressed shavings required precise technical adjustments and several rounds of prototyping.
Araştırma: The research behind the 'Talash' focused on exploring ways to repurpose industrial waste into aesthetically appealing design objects. By leveraging the inherent beauty of brass shavings, the project aimed to highlight the potential of discarded materials in creating high-quality decorative lighting. The methodology included extensive material experimentation, technical feasibility studies, and collaboration with manufacturing partners to refine the pressing and finishing processes.
İlham: Talash was born from a vision of transformation, elevating industrial remnants into refined design. By reclaiming brass shavings, a byproduct of machining, it unveils the hidden beauty within discarded materials. Through high-pressure compression, raw fragments are reshaped into a striking pendant that embodies sustainability and craftsmanship. Retaining its organic texture, Talash preserves its essence while symbolizing the pursuit of new possibilities in overlooked materials.
Proje Süresi: The 'Talash' project started in early 2024 and was completed in mid-2024 ın Istanbul, Türkiye. The project involved close collaboration between design and production teams, focusing on material research, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
İşleyiş Akışı: Lighting fixtures in the Talash Collection are designed for both residential and commercial use. Installation is straightforward: the compressed brass shade is mounted on a compatible fixture base. The luminaire can be turned on and off using a switch integrated into the power cable. The texture of the pressed brass creates varying light patterns, offering an interactive visual experience that changes with different lighting angles and intensities.
