Il Pausa House là một ngôi nhà tư nhân được xây dựng tại Jakarta, Indonesia. Thiết kế sử dụng hệ thống tham số để xác định cả hình học lẫn kết cấu. Những can thiệp mang tính điêu khắc trên mặt tiền tạo nên sự căng thẳng giữa các yếu tố tương phản, trong khi nội thất mang đến sự chuyển tiếp mượt mà giữa các không gian theo cả phương ngang và phương đứng. Kích thước và vị trí của các khoảng mở trên mặt tiền tuân theo một nghiên cứu chi tiết về ánh sáng mặt trời, các trục nhìn và chiều cao của người sử dụng, nhờ đó ánh sáng tự nhiên được phân bố đều bên trong. Lối vào được đặt cao hơn mặt đường và chào đón khách ngay khi đến.

- The geometric exploration of the Il Pausa morphology aimed to maximize the client's lifestyle, a series of calculated geometric and sculpture like interventions on the facade exploits the tension between conflicting elements. In contracts to the internal areas, which are designed to have greater fluidity in transition between the spaces in both the horizontal as well as the vertical elements. Il Pausa is designed with the intention to welcome any visitors at the very entrance.

- One significant features that defines the design of the project is the application of a parametric based system for the geometry and the structure. The geometry is optimized to the sunlight and reflection that goes uniformly inside the house. The approach was driven through a detailed solar analysis on the structure, with great attentiveness given to the eastern and western facades. The distribution of the facade's openings were heavily contingent on view axes, occupant height, and the uniform distribution of natural light. Il Pausa House is realized after a long study and construction phases that took more than 6 years to complete

- The client's requirements and requisite were very specific and detailed, the primary difficulty was to address the client's request to live in a home that is visually stunning and unique, yet simultaneously maintain the conventional cultural requirements local home. The other challenge arose from the complicated yet very specific flow of activities required within the entire project; where the house serves as a base for the client's profession without hindering in the slightest the day to day residential activities of the home's occupants.
