Good Day איז אַ שעז־לאָנג געשטעל, דיזיינד פֿאַר אָפּרו. דער זיץ איז געמאַכט פֿון זאַמד-געגאָסן אַלומיניום און הענגט אַראָפּ פֿון אַן אַלומיניום קרייץ-שטאַנג, געטראָגן דורך שווערערע געגאָסענע פֿיס, אַזוי אַז דער זיץ קוקט אויס גרינג בשעת דער בסיס בלייבט פֿעסט. אַ אינערלעכער שטאָל-ראַם ווערט געגאָסן אינעווייניק כדי צו פֿאַרשטאַרקן דעם דינעם זיץ. די לעדערנע קישנס ווערן געפֿורעמט איבער אַ פֿאָרעם, אַזוי אַז קיין נאָדל-אַרבעט צי נאָטן זענען נישט צו זען. מאַגנעטן, איינגעבעט אין דער גיסונג און אין די קישנס, האַלטן די קישנס פֿעסט אָרט און מאַכן זיי גרינג צו אָפּנעמען פֿאַר רייניקונג צי אויסבייטן דעם לעדער. דער שטול מעסט 635 מ״מ ברייט, 1600 מ״מ טיף און 830 מ״מ הויך.

Good Day גוטער טאָג איז אַ געווינער פֿון דעם A' Design Award אין אײַזן, אַן פּרעסטיזשע אָנערקענונג וואָס ווערט געגעבן צו גוטע דיזײַנס וואָס טרעפֿן די פּראָפֿעסיאָנעלע און ינדוסטריעלע פֿאָדערונגען וואָס מען דערוואַרט פֿון גוט-דיזײַנטע באַשאַפֿונגען. אײַזן-געווינער ווײַזן גרויסע בקיאות, הויכע ספּעציאַליזאַציע, מומחה-פֿאַרשטאַנד און קרעאַטיווע פֿעיִקייט פֿון זייערע שאַפֿער. פֿון Good Day גוטער טאָג ווערט דערוואַרט אַז עס איז אַ הויך געשעצטע, באַוווּנדערטע און ליבע באַשאַפֿונג וואָס איז פּראַקטיש און אינאָוואַטיוו. דער דאָזיקער געווינענדיקער דיזײַן פֿון A' Design Award אין אײַזן פֿאַראײניקט די בעסטע פּראַקטיקן פֿון דער ענף און האָט בקיאותדיקע טעכנישע אייגנשאַפֿטן פֿאַרבונדן מיט וויסן און טאַלאַנט. - The aluminum seat is suspended from an aluminum crossbar and leg structure. The leather pads are formed to produce a clean look without stitching or seams.

- The aluminum seat and legs are sand cast aluminum. The seat and legs are painted or polished depending on the look. The seat pads have a vacuum formed backer laminated with foam. The leather is formed over a mold to achieve a clean look. Magnets are embedded in the casting and seat pad to keep the pads secure to the frame and allow for easy removal for cleaning.

- The structure of the aluminum frame suspended under a leg structure proved an interesting engineering challenge. Creating the seat frame from cast aluminum was not only heavy, but also not structurally sound. An internal steel frame weldment was designed to be cast in place with the aluminum casting. In order to achieve pads without stitching or seams, forms were created to wet form leather into the seat shape. The leather was then adhered to the leather pads for a clean stitch free look to match the simplicity of the aluminum frame.

- An ergonomic model was created that allows for adjustment of length and angle of the seat, leg, back and lumbar. Adjusting the angles and length of the components allowed for the geometry to be tested by various users for maximum comfort. The chaise lounge is an experiential chair where the focus is on the comfort for relaxation. The seat and back angles were selected to give the user a sense of suspension and solitude while relaxing in the chair.

- The Good Day was inspired by two artists recording a song in the music studio. The two complimented each other’s artistic styles with a play between powerful and smooth. Watching them create, I sketched a low-lying lounge chair with a thin floating seat suspended under a crossbar attached to heavier structural legs. The seat would appear light and floating, yet grounded by the thicker leg structure.

- The lounge chair was first sketched February 2020 in a recording studio in Seattle, Washington USA. The prototype was completed in Seattle in September 2021.
- אָפּעראַציע-פֿלוס
- The lounge chair is static, but the leather pads are removable for cleaning and maintenance. The removable pads also provide the ability to change the look of the lounge chair with alternate leather colors or materials. The pads are held in place by magnets embedded in the aluminum frame and pads.
