Umbhalo Wencwadi: I-Light Series iyisivikelo sokuphefumula esigqokwa ebusweni bonke esisebenza ngamandla kagesi futhi sinesihlungi se-HEPA esihlanganisiwe. Lesi sivikelo siyisisekelo esakhelwe ukusetshenziswa ngezindlela eziningi, kufaka phakathi ukusetshenziswa kwansuku zonke, ezokwelapha, ezemidlalo kanye nokuvikelwa kwezimboni. Umoya udonswa ngumshini ongabangi umsindo bese uhlanzwa yizihlungi ze-HEPA ngaphambi kokuba unikezwe ngaphakathi kwesivikelo. Ucwaningo: The project ignited as response to the pandemic. Currently, the mask is undergoing the PPE III certification and "crowd-testing" by selected betta testers. Started by one company, today a number of the specialized companies involved in the project being involved in the implementation of "add-ons" into the mask for it to be a respiratory platform, rather than just respirator.
We target the mask to be available on the market by May-June this year.
Ugqozi: This project started in 2019, even before we knew about the pandemic, but when pandemic broke out, we changed our direction a little bit when we found out PPE market needs innovation. Besides that, we are fans of Star Trek and Star Wars and we wanted to create something futuristic.
Ubude Bephrojekthi: Project started in 2nd half of 2019. Market launch is expected to happen in the following months.
Ukuhamba Kokusebenza: Air is being taken in with a powerful silent fan from the outside and cleaned by HEPA filters (99.9% efficiency) before it is supplied into the mask. Exchangeable around face cushion allows to accommodate mask to the most faces with low-pressure tight fit for comfortable use during long hours.
