I-Side yisihlalo sengqungquthela esakhelwe iziminyana, izifundo zoqeqesho, imihlangano kanye nezindawo zokulinda. Isihlalo siyakwazi ukubekwa ngayinye phezu kwesinye futhi singaxhunywa ngemigqa. Ithebula lokubhala elizibuyisela ngokwalo liyatholakala njengokuzikhethela, kwenza i-Side ibe yindawo encane yokusebenza. Umzimba wesihlalo wenziwe ngendlela ye-monocoque yepulasitiki, kuyilapho uhlaka lwenziwe ngealuminiyamu nezinye izinsimbi. Isihlalo sangemuva esinokuqonda, esenziwe nge-polypropylene, sisekela isinqe, kuyilapho isihlalo sokuhlala sinamaqhuzu athambile ukuze kube nokukhululeka. Side Isihlalo Sengqungquthela ilindeleke ukuba ibe yinto exatshwa kakhulu, edunyiswayo nethandwayo, enobungcweti obuphawulekayo nezinto ezintsha. Ubuchwepheshe Bokukhiqiza: Side is composed by a monocoque plastic body available in different colors and a mixed framework made of aluminium and other metals.
Ergonomic design with the elastic chair back made of new PP material, comfortably support the waist. Appropriate support can effectively relieve human body pressure.
Functional solutions like the easy aggregation system and the availability of a tablet fitted well into the design.
The decision of developing a monocoque body gave us the possibility of creating a big family of products: Side is available with a lot of different basis such as sled, four legs, five spokes with wheels and so on.
Inselele Yokudweba: The challenge is always the same: being able to create a product that is beautiful to look at, with reasonable production costs to reach a fair final price to be competitive on the international markets.
Ucwaningo: The request was to create a contract chair with metal supporting structure and seat-backrest in plastic material; its armrests have a strong support to support the side tablet (aluminum painted in various colors).
Ugqozi: After about 30 years of commitment in the design activity, and many of these involved in the design for seating, this project is the result of a great knowledge of both functions and form.
Ubude Bephrojekthi: The project startet in March 2020 in Ponsacco (PI) and finished in March 2021 in Ponsacco (PI) and presented in March 2021 at the 47th CIFF (China International Furniture Fair) in Guangzhou, China
Ukuhamba Kokusebenza: This is a “contract” chair, for use in public spaces, such as meeting rooms and waiting areas, in general it is transformed with a practical tablet, becoming a small workstation.
