I-Helix uchungechunge lwezibani zokukhanyisa emakhaya, okuhlanganisa nezibani zaphansi kanye nezibani ezilengayo. Izibani zenziwe ngamapayipi eplastiki avuselelwe kusuka kumakhebula, izisibekelo zesibani ezenziwe ngensimbi eqinisiwe kanye namapayipi ensimbi. Uhlaka lwesibani saphansi luhlanganisa amapayipi amabili ensimbi kanye nesizinda esimaphakathi, ngakho-ke isibani singajikwa ukuze kulungiswe ukuphakama kokukhanya. Ucingo oluyi-spiral luthandeleka nxazonke kosekelo lwesibani futhi luthwala ugesi. Izingxenye zihlanganiswa kusengaphambili ukuze kube lula ukuthutha nokufaka.
