Mayelana ne-Skewed Ivilla

I-Skewed iyivilla ezimele eyodwa etholakala eSurat, e-India. Le ndlu ihlanganisa amamitha amakhulu awu-1,022 emkhathini futhi yakhelwe njengochungechunge lwemiboniso exhumene ndawonye. Izici zihlehle kancane endaweni yomugqa oqondile, okudala imibono ehlukahlukene ngaphakathi kwesimo esiyi-3D. Ubuhle obulula, uhlu oluncane lwezinto zokwakha, kanye nokuxhumana okuseduze nemvelo kuqondisa lo mklamo. Amasondo omhlaba we-granite emnyama, izindonga zesimende nokupende, kanye namafasitela wesihlahla se-teak kanye nomsebenzi wokhuni wangaphakathi kusetshenziswa kuyo yonke indlu. Ingadi esesitezi sokuqala iphathwa yipulazi le-slab elicindezelwe emva kokwakhiwa (post tensioned slab) futhi ixhumene nayo yonke indlu.

Skewed Ivilla iwinile uMklomelo Webhulonzi we-A' Design Award, ukwaziswa okuhloniphekile kakhulu okunikezwa imiklamo ephawulekayo eyehlukaniswa ukudala, ubuhlakani nobukhali bengqondo. Abawinile beBhulonzi yimisebenzi enobuchule obukhulu nedala ngokumangalisayo eqinisekisa isipiliyoni esibanzi, umcabango nobuhlakani babaklami babo. Skewed Ivilla ilindeleke ukuba ibe yinto exatshwa kakhulu, edunyiswayo nethandwayo, enobungcweti obuphawulekayo nezinto ezintsha. Lo mklamo owinile uMklomelo Webhulonzi we-A' Design Award uhlanganisa izindlela ezinhle kakhulu ebuciko, esayensi, ekuklameni nasebuchwepheshe futhi uhamba phambili ngenxa yokunaka kwawo imininingwane. Skewed Ivilla iyanelisa izidingo ngokumangalisayo, ithinta izifiso, iheha imizwa futhi ikhanga ukufuna ukwazi.

Izici Ezihlukile: Simple aesthetics, a minimal material palette and connections to nature are the main drivers of the design of the Skewed House,the architect’s debut through his firm Studio Lagom. The standalone 11,000-square-foot villa seeks to create an oasis of serenity in Surat’s typical urban milieu through a programme that departs from typical planning of this typology.

Inselele Yokudweba: Taking the complete garden on the first floor which connects with entire house was the major challenge. But the research was carried accordingly and it was overcomed by proving a post tensioned slab.
Ugqozi: The architect’s deep interest in photography helped him visualize this project as a series of interconnected vistas, and was also responsible for the ‘skewedness’ of Skewed House. Manifested subtly as elements shifted slightly off the straight line, this was an exercise in creating vistas and perspectives, and adding more life to a three-dimensional object.
Ubude Bephrojekthi: The project started in April 2011 in Surat and finished in August 2017 in Surat.
Ukuhamba Kokusebenza: The standalone villa seeks to create an oasis of serenity in typical urban milieu of Surat through a programme that departs from typical planning of this typology.
