關於 Gloria 戒指、手鏈

Gloria係一個珠寶系列,包括一枚戒指同一條手鏈。設計靈感源自光環——藝術家喺聖人頭頂繪畫嘅發光圓環,象徵美德。戒指嘅主體圈環同手鏈嘅主體都係用金屬線手工塑形而成。石材同樣以純手工方式,選用天然材料製作,唔含化學色素或添加物質,令石材可以回歸自然。呢啲配飾可以單獨佩戴,亦都可以組合使用,令形態同功能都可以隨意變化。設計意念在於透過一件可佩戴嘅物件,表達人類精神嘅昇華。

The stones in this collection are made out of unique, environment friendly and completely natural materials.

生產技術: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
設計挑戰: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
研究: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
靈感: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
項目時長: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
