關於 Rotator 多功能手機座

Rotator係一款多功能手機座,結合無線充電同藍牙喇叭功能。呢個充電座提供兩種充電模式:平放充電,同埋以60度角傾斜充電,方便直立睇片。兩條支撐桿兼作控制桿,可以調校喇叭音量同手機屏幕亮度。機身以鋁製外殼配以壓克力面板製成,透過CNC加工同金屬3D打印技術塑形而成。Rotator尺寸為90 x 90 x 100毫米。

獨特屬性: ROTATOR is a wireless charger + Bluetooth speaker that can be rotated as a mobile phone holder. It has two charging methods: one is flat charging, and the other is rotated at an angle of 60 degrees with the ground as a mobile phone stand charging. Two support bars can also be used to adjust the volume of the speaker and the brightness of the phone's screen.

生產技術: This design is shaped by CNC machining technology and metal 3D printing technology. It's mainly composed of luminum case, wireless quick charging coil, wireless charging chip and acrylic panel.
設計挑戰: The challenge of the design is the innovative method of this phone charger.The technology and idea of this design was found. Still, it was not sure how to integrate each function of phone holder, charger and speaker. After a certain number of sketching and discussing about the project, finally, the proper selections which achieve the desired effect was found.
研究: In a fast-paced modern society where people are often doing more than one thing at a time, it used to be difficult to place a phone on a holder to browse the Web or watch videos while it was charging. If the phone can be placed in a charging phone holder, it will undoubtedly save users a lot of time. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth speaker feature can reduce anxiety by allowing users to play music without worrying about battery drain.
靈感: Existing phone holders are often lacking in functionality, only folding or charging. I want to maximize the functions of the mobile phone holder, and realize the combination of mobile phone holder, bluetooth speaker, charging, screen brightness and sound control , so as to provide maximum convenience for users.
項目時長: The project started in January 2021 in LAFA Industrial Design Studio and finished in December 2021 in National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Industrial Design in LAFA.
操作流程: Rotator has three functions: basic phone holder function, wireless charging function and Bluetooth speaker function.People can charge their phones while playing music or watching videos without worrying about losing power, and on top of that, they can adjust volume or brightness via two support sticks. ROTAOR can be adjusted to two angles to place the phone, one is 180° and the other is 60°. The 60° is suitable for people sitting down to watch a video, and the 180° is suitable for people conveniently placing the phone to charge. The design shows the application of ergonomics.
