關於 Drive2Extremes Multivision 攝影藝術作品

《Drive2Extremes Multivision》係一系列將兩種極端景觀融合喺同一畫面嘅攝影藝術作品。保時捷 Taycan Cross Turismo 首先喺北極圈以北嘅拉普蘭一片結冰嘅沼澤上拍攝。兩星期之後，將部車擺喺相對於相機同一位置，並喺相近嘅太陽位置下，喺阿拉伯聯合酋長國嘅阿拉伯沙漠再度拍攝。之後透過多重曝光技術將兩個畫面合而為一。目的係要將極地同沙漠景色融匯於同一幅畫面之中。呢批藝術作品製作咗多種尺寸。

獨特屬性: I had the wonderful opportunity to bring together the two extremes of the Northern Polar Region in Levi, Finland and the Arabian Desert in Liwa, United Arab Emirates with the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo. These are some of the results.

I first photographed the Taycan in the polar region, then placed it exactly the same, same perspective, camera angle, etc. in the desert and applied my multivision mojo.

生產技術: I first placed and photographed the Porsche on a frozen bog in Lapland, north of the Arctic Circle, and two weeks later in the same position relative to the camera and at a similar position of the sun in the Arabian desert. These two images were then fluidly built together.
設計挑戰: The challenge was to position the car in the exact same angle, height, etc. And in the desert you have to work quite fast, due to the very fast sunset and sundown.
研究: The research was mainly about the weather and the times of sunset and sunrise. Also in resaerching the area and locations and how to protect the cameras from sand, dust and snow and how we could work at -30 degrees Celsius and +45 degrees Celsius with our equipment...
靈感: I worked before for Porsche as a commercial photographer. As an artist I often work with multiple exposure photography. Porsche Middel East produced a highly acclaimed film Drive2Extrems, bringing the two locations desert and polar region together. I worked before with the executive people from Porsche in Shanghai and produced there multiple exposure Artworks for the Photofairs Shanghai. In the new project I wanted to combine the two regions in one picture.
項目時長: It took 2 weeks of photo-production in Finland and the UAE desert and 2 weeks of post-production.
操作流程: I knew the places and locations but I had to decide on location on which time I wanted to shoot, due to sunset or sunrise. In Finland it was quite easy, sunset and sunrise take about 2 hours and more. In the desert in the UAE it was more difficult: sunrise and sunset are done in less than 30 minutes...
