Shahrokh意指「擁有俊美容顏嘅人」。Shahrokh嘅整體造型靈感源自伊朗同中東地區嘅傳統坐姿文化。喺過去，呢啲地方嘅人習慣坐喺地上，並會使用一種名為mukhta嘅地台椅嚟增加舒適度。Shahrokh嘅一體式坐墊設計參考咗mukhta嘅形態，同時將坐面提升離開地面，令其更適合現代生活使用。設計呢張椅子嘅目的，係要打造一件優雅而具魅力嘅作品，令佢喺建築空間之中展現出獨特嘅存在感。

The purpose of designing this chair was to achieve an object that is elegant and charismatic and shows itself in the architectural space. Have a simple form but attract attention. For the design of Shahrokh, designer tried to make the final result harmonious in different spaces (with various functions).

生產技術: Shahrokh consists of two main parts, a single mattress, which is connected to the foot and back parts, and a metal structure. Holes were made in the back and under the leather mattress so that the air between the fibers inside the mattress can escape and create more softness, and after the user of the mattress gets up, it breathes and returns to its previous state.
The structure is made of bent metal pipes (diameter 1.5) and made in two pieces. The first part holds the mattress and the second part is the base of the chair. These two parts are connected by fine tubes (0.8 cm).
設計挑戰: The strength of the delicate metal structure was one of the construction problems, which provided by the middle pipes. The second problem was to make it possible to vent the air of the leather mattress, which would prevent tearing or wear of the leather when sitting and standing up and provide more comfort. This problem was solved by installing several holes under and behind the mattress.

In the past, people in these lands used to sit on the ground and used a kind of ground chair called "mukhta" for comfort. The Shahrokh’s integrated mattress is designed with an eye to "mukhta" and is separated from the ground level for the possibility of contemporary use.
