關於 Self Defense Mechanism 男裝系列

《自我防禦機制》係一個男裝系列,設計成為穿著者嘅一層保護。呢個系列回應咗一個資訊過載嘅時代,人們每日接收嘅訊息量已經超出一個人可以吸收嘅程度。以神經元同網狀幾何為基礎嘅印花,營造出擴散同模糊嘅視覺效果,令外面嘅世界變得難以看清,從而令內心保持平靜。棉質同尼龍網布縫合在一起,形成一種呼應印花圖案嘅新質感。服裝按照標準男裝尺碼製作,可以作為日常衣著穿搭。

獨特屬性: This collection perfectly embody the concept in our daily life. It easily can tell the whole concept from the appearance of the garment. These clothes are aimed to consider as a protective layer for ourselves to stabilize in this world. Avoiding us suffering from this world full of information. Thus, we can clean ourself clear and stay calm.
尺寸同包裝: measurement is same as normal garment for men

生產技術: Using neuron and mesh geometry on prints symbolizes the spread and blur which makes us can't see what the outside world looks like and maintain our mind clear. By sewing cotton and nylon mesh together to create a new texture which is similar to the pattern I design for this collection.
設計挑戰: The hardest part is to create the texture by sewing cotton and nylon mesh together. It's hard to copy the shape of neurons.
研究: It's the idea come up in my mind, the concept start from the imagination of me hiding in my own womb and observing this world. The real one hiding inside and the fake one control me to live my life. And It is exactly how the Augment Reality works. So in my initially research, it fulls of the image of AR(hiding in womb), neurons (feeling), electricity (neurotransmission).
靈感: In the era of information explosions, humans are stimulated by various environments. The messages that make us receive in one day actually are far more than one person could undertake. Consequently, these clothes are aimed to consider as a protective layer for ourselves to stabilize in this world. 項目時長: The project started in September 2021 in Taipei and finished in March 2022 also in Taipei, made as my graduate project which also the last project before I graduate.
操作流程: People can wear this collection as normal clothing, but also wear it to anywhere depend on their feeling. As long as you feel great to this collection then that's the reason.
