獨特屬性: Drawing inspiration from laboratory tools, the Element lamp merges functionality with an industrial aesthetic. The design allows users to easily adjust its position through a simple knob twist, enabling height control. Additionally, the lamp shade's swivel feature enables angle adjustment, introducing practicality into any setting and ensuring ease of use in both professional and personal spaces.

生產技術: The lamp combines steel components shaped by wire forming, laser-cutting, and metal spinning, with a powder-coated finish for durability. Through closely collaborating with the manufacturing team and iterative testing, we managed to refine the techniques and overcome these obstacles. This process not only allowed us to achieve the lamp's intended form but also enriched the understanding of production technologies.
研究: The research behind the Element lamp explored integrating laboratory equipment functionality into lighting design. The methodology involved iterative design processes and various manufacturing techniques. Prototypes ranged from low to high fidelity for thorough testing. 項目時長: The project started in March 2022 in Providence, Rhode Island and concluded in February 2023.
