اسپیچ بابل (Speech Bubbie) قلمی تایپ است که برای حروف لاتین و نویسه‌های چینی طراحی شده است. حباب گفتار یک قرارداد گرافیکی است که در دیالوگ‌های کتاب‌های کمیک استفاده می‌شود، و شکل حروف نیز احساسات را در نوشتار القا می‌کند. ارتباط میان این دو عنصر گرافیکی به شکل‌گیری ساختاری تازه برای حروف و نویسه‌ها بر اساس فرم کتاب‌های کمیک انجامید. ضربه‌های قلم به شکل‌های ساده‌شده‌ی حباب گفتار تبدیل شده‌اند، در حالی که همچنان جهت ضربه‌های اصلی را دنبال می‌کنند، به گونه‌ای که خوانایی حفظ می‌شود. این قلم تایپ ابتدا به‌صورت دستی طراحی و سپس با نرم‌افزار برداری تولید شد.

Similarly,fonts connote emotions in writing.Realising the connection between these two graphic elements,designers borrowed the form from comic books to reformulate the structure of alphabets and Chinese characters. Strokes are simplified into generic forms of speech bubbles while still following the direction of the original strokes,therefore retaining the readability of the character.
