درباره Whirlpool هاب چرخ
Whirlpool یک هاب چرخ است که برای خنک‌سازی دیسک‌های ترمز طراحی شده است. پره‌ها شکلی شبیه به پروانه دارند که از پروانه‌های هواپیما الهام گرفته شده‌اند. در هنگام ترمزگیری، اصطکاک میان لنت‌ها و دیسک ترمز دما را به‌شدت افزایش می‌دهد و این گرمای بالا عمر دیسک را کاهش می‌دهد. فرم Whirlpool هوای اطراف چرخ را جمع‌آوری کرده و آن را به سمت مرکز دیسک ترمز هدایت می‌کند. جریان هوا در حین حرکت خودرو، دیسک را خنک می‌سازد. این هاب از آلیاژ تیتانیوم ساخته شده و با روش‌های ریخته‌گری و ماشین‌کاری CNC تولید می‌شود.
