Minquan Wang

Minquan Wang, AIA, LEED GA, is an Associate Principal at KPF New York, where he played critical roles in major mixed-use developments such as Chongqing International Land-Sea Center, Baker Circle, and Thamrin Nine. He previously served at David Chipperfield Architects where he was the lead designer for high profile competitions, including the Jinqiao Art Center and Minsheng Wharf masterplan, and the project architect for the 2023 RAM Assembles.
Beyond professional works, Minquan is the founder of Agora, an architectural and interior design studio in New York. His independent projects has received international recognition. His proposal for the West Zhejiang Agro-Tech Campus earned Gold honors from the A’ Design Award, APR Urban Design & Architecture Design Awards, and NY Architectural Design Awards, as well as a Bronze Prize from the International Design Awards. His CAA Mengyuan Campus proposal received an International Design Awards Bronze Prize and a MUSE Design Awards Silver Winner.
Minquan has taught an Option Studio at Tongji University and co-authored Folding Jingdezhen. He holds an M.Arch from Yale University, where he received the H.I. Feldman Prize, and a B.Arch from Tsinghua University. His work combines conceptual rigor, technical expertise, and computational design, with a particular interest in public space and architecture’s capacity to reshape social relationships in urban contexts.
