A Art and Us Könyvtervezés bemutatása

Az Art and Us egy olyan könyv, amely egy művészeti alapítvány gyűjteményéből válogatott alkotásokat mutat be. A fő rész kizárólag a művek képeit tartalmazza, míg egy külön kis füzet, amely a hátsó borító zsebében kapott helyet, oldalszám szerint ismerteti az egyes alkotásokat. Minden oldalon eredeti, kézzel rajzolt textúrák láthatók, így a könyv egy művész vázlatfüzetét idézi. A puha borító átlátszó PVC-ből készült szitanyomással, a fűzött kötés pedig láthatóvá teszi a kötészetet. Három különböző papírt használtak, köztük áttetsző lapokat és durva felületű lapokat a kiállítási dokumentációhoz.

Az aranygyőztesek rendkívül innovatív, látnoki és káprázatosan csillogó alkotások, amelyek tükrözik tervezőik zsenialitását, bölcsességét és mesterségbeli tudását. Art and Us Könyvtervezés-tól azt várják, hogy nagyra dicsért, irányt mutató, monumentális találmány legyen, amely példátlan értéket szolgáltat. Ez az Aranydíj A' Design Award kitüntetést elnyert dizájn látványos, megbecsült projekt, amely nagymértékben szolgálja, és előre viszi a művészet, a tudomány, a dizájn és a technológia határait. Art and Us Könyvtervezés intenzív vágyérzetet kelt, szenvedélyt ébreszt, bátorítja a kreativitást, és lenyűgöz bennünket.

Egyedi tulajdonságok: After five years of activity, Lewben Art Foundation has published a book of selected works of foundation. In order to give meaning to the various periods of the fund, we have presented only visualizations of author’s works without informative text. At the end of the book is presented a small booklet, in which the author’s works are described according to the numbered pages of the book.
Méretek és csomagolás: Softcover book, 285 mm x 245 mm x 15 mm, 242 page. Printed in offset, silk-screen printing, UV printing.

Gyártástechnológia: In order to convey the impression of the artist sketchbook, a binding technology was used for the book - kettle stitching. The main cover of the book is made of soft, transparent PVC sheet with single color silk-screen printing and designed pocket in the back for a smaller catalog. The first sheet of paper uses hot foil stamping, which is translucent throught PVC and gives a two-layer impression.
All main pages were printed with UV technology on a Galerie Art volume of 115 g. and Holmen Book Extra 80 g. paper. For the transparent pages was used Curious Collection Translucents Bright White 100 g., Gmund Colors Transparent Red 100 g. Information catalog paper - Rainbow Intensive Red 120 g.
Design kihívás: The most difficult part was creating background illustrations for each page, which would be an abstract reminder of the artist sketchbook and would have its own style. The illustrations
were hand drawn, then photographed, scanned, and computer-processed. The book selects three types of papers in order to better reveal the art works, archival documentation of exhibitions, and transparent markers.
Kutatás: During the process, we wanted to create a seamless and the same time abstract object - book, representing the activieties of the Lewben Art Foundation for five years. Therefore, we had to find a common concept that would clearly and simply represent the book theme Art & Us. The principle of illustrations was chosen for this.
Inspiráció: The inspiration for the book Art & Us is the artist sketchbook, in which there are a lot of hand technical drawings, therefore, to enhance this effect, these stylistic textures were specially created for each page of the book. With this principle of the book, we reveal what lies behind the artist’s final work - research and the author’s hard work.
Projekt időtartama: The project started in September 2019 and finished in January 2020 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Működési folyamat: Almost every page of the book was created with original illustrations, used rough, yellowish paper for exhibition documentation and transparent markers with numbers are inserted between the pages to make the object as seamless as possible and to resemble the artist sketchbook.
