Apie X World Apranga

X World – tai konceptualus drabužis, įkvėptas vabzdžių rentgeno nuotraukų. Dizainas paverčia vabzdžio egzoskeletą dėvima forma, ant žmogaus kūno išdėstydamas kiauto pavidalo struktūrų sluoksnius. X World sukurtas naudojant kinų rūmų žibintų amatą – techniką, įtrauktą į nematerialaus kultūros paveldo sąrašą. Po daugybės medžiagų bandymų geležinės vielos karkasas buvo sujungtas su šilko gaza – deriniu, kuris yra ir lengvas, ir lankstus. Drabužis yra subtilus, bet tvirtas, o pažeidžiamumą pateikia kaip laikiną apsaugos formą.

Veikimo eiga: Vulnerability is the body's natural "airbag" that turns it into protection when we are faced with a difficult or mentally challenging situation. I think of this protection as an insect exoskeleton attached to our bodies, providing a temporary sense of security. I made this "exoskeleton" into clothes. It's beautiful and fragile, thin and tough.
