Bake Sans ni ubwoko bw'inyuguti za sans serif zishingiye ku miterere ya jewometrike, zakozwe ku bijyanye no kwiyemeza ikirango n'imishinga y'itumanaho. Imiterere y'inyuguti ishingiye ku Buryo Mpuzamahanga (International Style) no ku bunyangamugayo bw'imiterere ya Suisse mu gukora inyuguti, bihuzwa n'imiterere n'imikirungo igerageza ibishya. Uru rukurikirane rwakozwe hifashishijwe porogaramu yo gukora inyuguti kandi rutanga imiterere ihamye ku bireba kwerekana mu buryo bwinshi butandukanye. - Our research began with the origins of the International Style and Swiss type design, creating forms that could be expanded and adapted into new forms.

- Inspiration was from the International Style, and the minimalism and clarity of Swiss-type design inspired the letterforms. Foremost was the concept of a geometric sans serif typeface but with an experimental feel.
